Natural Grass & Sod Installation

Sod laid on soil that was prepared first — the part that decides it

Free QuoteMarin, East Bay, SF & Sonoma · Open 7 Days

Sod is the easy half of a new lawn. What decides whether it takes is what happens before it arrives: old turf and roots stripped out, the grade cut so water runs away from the house, compacted soil broken up, amendment worked in, and irrigation coverage proven before a single roll is unwrapped. We lay fresh-cut sod on prepared ground, roll it in, and set the controller for the establishment weeks rather than leaving you to guess.

Our Process

1

Soil & Sun Check

We look at drainage, compaction and how much sun the area really gets, then pick the blend to suit it.

2

Strip & Prepare

Old lawn is removed, the ground is tilled, amended and graded, and the irrigation is proven across the area.

3

Lay & Roll

Fresh-cut sod goes down within a day of harvest, tight-butted, staggered and rolled to make soil contact.

4

Water-In Schedule

We set the controller for the establishment weeks and tell you when to first mow and first feed.
