Our Story
Santiago’s Contractors was founded by Santiago Ulizar Puac Calderon around a simple idea: build the part nobody sees properly, and the part everybody sees takes care of itself. Grade, drainage and base first — then hardscape, irrigation, turf and planting, in the order that means nothing gets dug up twice.
We work out of 3620 Kerner Boulevard in San Rafael, and from there we cover a wide stretch of the Bay Area — Larkspur, Corte Madera, San Anselmo and Fairfax close to home, Mill Valley, Sausalito and Tiburón to the south, Novato to the north, then over the bridge to Richmond, San Pablo, Pinole, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Albany, Oakland and Emeryville, across to San Francisco, and up to Petaluma, Cotati and Rohnert Park.
Most of our customers are homeowners, and most of them call about the same three things: a lawn that will not hold, an irrigation system nobody has looked at in years, and a yard whose layout stopped matching how the house is used. We quote all of it in writing, broken out by stage, and work to a date you agreed to — and we take the plumbing side of the job too, so a trench that runs into a water line does not become a second contractor and a second wait.
